Welcome to The Lore Wars!

Lore Wars is a new event designed to add an extra layer of competition onto the already action-packed game of League of Legends. Summoners will choose sides and fight for their Faction, earning points through playing League of Legends.

Event Format

• Comic released every 2 weeks based on LoL's Lore
• Week long battle with points earned by all registered summoners
• Streamed Best of 3 Showmatch featuring top contributors from both Factions

Every two weeks a comic based on the League of Legends Lore will be released (comics are drawn and written by members of the community) leading up to a battle or conflict. The champions of League of Legends will be split into two or more factions for the duration of the battle, and registered users will choose which team/Faction to support. After each comic is released the ability to join a team will be opened to the public. At any time during the battle you can join a team, but once you have chosen a team you cannot switch teams.

Scoring

Throughout the week-long battle statistics from all games played by participating summoners will be tracked, and points awarded based on the following criteria:

1. Point will only be awarded for games played as a champion within your Faction.
2. Wins earn your Faction 20 points, whereas losses earn your Faction 10 points. Your KDA ratio will also add bonus points to your score earned.
3. Scores for each Faction will be displayed on the site and updated regularly. The scores will be weighted based upon the number of supporters each Faction has.
